About Brookwood Animal Hospital

Dr. Jenny Reesman

Dr. Reesman is the proud owner of Brookwood Animal Hospital. After working at BAH both in high school and as an associate vet for over 15 years, she purchased the practice from Dr. Yeomans. She graduated from Michigan State CVM, but moved back to GA, having grown up in the area and attended St. John Neumann Middle and Brookwood High School. She lives in Lawrenceville with her husband and 3 kids who attend school in the Brookwood cluster. In her free time, she loves running, cycling, knitting, watching her kids play sports and attending their school events.

Dr. Craig Yeomans

Dr. Yeomans is the founder of Brookwood Animal Hospital. Craig graduated from UGA CVM in 1979. After working in both emergency and private practice in Florida and Georgia, he settled in GA. He built Brookwood Animal Hospital in 1983, and grew the practice for over 35 years. He lives in Athens with his wife, now enjoying part time retirement. In his free time, he enjoys attending UGA sporting events, traveling, and spending time in Athens, GA.

Dr. Layne Shattles

Dr. Shattles graduated from UGA CVM in 1988. She worked at Brookwood Animal Hospital and lived in Grayson before moving to Blairesville. After working in northern Georgia for a short period of time, she came back to work at Brookwood Animal Hospital. She lives in Blairesville with her husband and enjoys hiking, shopping, and biking.

Dr. Matt Foley

Dr. Foley graduated from the UGA CVM class of 2020. He is from Lawrenceville, GA but currently lives in Rutledge, GA with his wife who is a pharmacist at Eastside in Snellville. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, being outdoors, and playing with their 5 cats.
